The Parkview Public School P&C's Family Community Christmas Carnival has been hailed a huge success by the school's parent body after almost 800 people attended to join in the festive cheer of the event.

A disco, Lions Train, Merry Go Round and Jumping Castles entertained the youngsters while the young at heart were kept amused by the continous ham an toy raffles, live and entertainment from the school's band and tap group and were also surprised by a visit from a flash mob and of course Santa and Mrs Claus also dropped by!

P&C President Mr Ian Draper was wrapped with the evening. "Once again the Parkview community has come together to celebrate a school event. It was a joy to see the happiness on the children's faces and great to see parents relaxed and mingling in the carnival atmosphere."

Funds raised from the event will be channelled towards various projects including classroom resources and the establishment of a shade area on the top playground at the school.

Images from the night can be seen in the album's page on the school website.
