Year 3 students enjoy their time at the Zoo.

Years 3 and 4 have returned school following a very successful excursion to the Central West, highlighted by visits to Taronga Western Plains Zoo at Dubbo and the CSIRO Telescope (aka 'The Dish') north of Parkes.

Children displayed great behaviour during the trip, with a reward evening hosted by Mr Collins proving popular. It was however the visit to the Zoo that had most children the most excited, with close encounters with an echidna, lizards and frogs complemented by the sights of many of Africa, Asia and the America's most stunning animals on display.

Those who enjoy space were treated to a 22 minute 3D journey to Mars in the CSIRO's theatre, while many students marvelled at the relative size of the celestial bodies in our galaxy.
