Children enjoying the Easter Hat Parade.

Parkview Public School's annual Easter Hat Parade was again an outstanding success with a massive gathering of community members in attendance to enjoy what was the biggest parade ever hosted by the school.

Unique hats that featured traditional Easter symbols as well as more unique takes on the impending season were on display for all to enjoy, with the overriding theme of chocolate, and lots of it!

Coordinator Miss Lauren Brett was ecstatic with the success of the event. "The children in partnership with their parents and carers have done an amazing job to bring today's parade to life. A huge amount of time and effort has gone into making all of the hats and the children have really responded positively to that. The smiles on their faces were beaming.

Children enjoyed the traditional parade and a shared family lunch before being surprised when they returned to their classrooms in the afternoon. A secret delivery from the Easter Bilby had been made to every individual student!

Photos from the day will be available in the Photo Gallery elsewhere on the school website.
