Parkview Public School has recorded some fantastic results in the opening stages of the 66th Annual Climate Technologies Leeton Eisteddfod.
Last Friday the school's 3 debating teams acquitted themselves extremely well, winning two of there three debates and finishing 4th overall out of 12 entries.
Today attention turned to Verse Speaking, with some outstanding results.
Year 3 & 4 claimed the Stage 2 Verse Speaking Choirs title for the second time in three years following a lively and articulate recital. Teachers Mrs Fiona Hislop and Miss Alana Hynard were particularly proud of the efforts of their classes.
Year 6 also produced a brilliant performance, placing third in their category after producing what teacher Matthew Collins described as a wonderfully vibrant performance.
The good news continued in the afternoon session with Year 2 & Year 1/2 combining for a Highly Commended in the Stage 1 section of the competition.
All students are to be congratulated on the excellent way in which they represented Parkview Public School.
