Hannah Boardman leads the way against Edward PS
Parkview Public School has been knocked out in the third round of the NSWPSSA State Girls Soccer Knockout after a tight match with Edward Public School in Deniliquin today. Edward PS progressed by virtue of their 3-1 victory.

Parkview made its way through to third round after defeating Leeton PS 2-1 and receiving a forfeit from Ashmont PS.

The team produced a tremendous defensive effort against much bigger opposition and often caught their opponents napping on the counter attack. Jade Paynter was brilliant in goals for Parkview, repelling many Edward attacks, and she was well supported by Samantha Pianca who continued her brilliant form from the previous match to lead the defence.

Kayla Mecham and Hannah Boardman worked hard in midfield while the team's hardwork during the match was rewarded in the 48th minute when Ashleigh Cook found a hole in the opposition defence and scored a brilliantly worked goal.

Coach Mrs Melanie Shelley was extremely proud of the girls efforts and sportsmanship, and thanked the parents who provided transport on the long journey to Deniliquin.
