Parkview Public School's Education Week Open Day has been enjoyed by an estimated 600 students and community members who shared a range of interactive classroom and outdoor based activities at the school on Thursday.

Celebrating the 60th year of Education Week, the community again enjoyed engaging with students in their learning environment, with a range of learning experiences enjoyed by the community including technological based activities in Stage 3, Outdoor Maths challenges in Stage 2, Science based experiments and activities in Stage 1 and a celebration of the first 100 days of learning milestone in Kindergarten.

As always, the shared family lunch proved extremely popular with families, during which time the school's annual Education Week Awards were presented, featuring three community members who have made outstanding contributions to Parkview Public School. The recipients were:

Student-Jack McClure

Staff-Mrs Joanne Peacock

Community-Mrs Julie Axtill

A huge day was concluded with the visit from former Sydney Swans star Jude Bolton. Images from a memorable day at Parkview Public School can be found in the Photo Galler section of the website.
