Owen Kearney was one of 75 Parkview students to march on ANZAC Day

A record number of Parkview PS students have commemorated  ANZAC Day, making a significant contribution to the Leeton Town March and Service yesterday. 75 students (around 1/3 of all enrolled students) as well as 10 staff and many parents and carers joined thousands of patriotic and grateful Leetonians in remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the service of our country.

ANZAC Day is an important day to so many Australians. IWe should feel incredibly proud of the involvement our school had in yesterday's moving ceremony. Staff would like to thank all of our parents and carers for taking the time to share the importance of the ANZAC tradition with the youth of our community. Parkview PS will host its own ANZAC Ceremony at school tomorrow from 1.00pm. Parents and carers are welcome to join students in this ceremony if they wish.
