A massive swimming season reached an exciting conclusion at the NSWPSSA Swimming Championships hosted at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre this week, featuring Parkview Public School's largest ever State Carnival Swim Team.
The school was represented at Homebush by nine students who acquitted themselves well against the best swimmers from across NSW across two gruelling days of competition.
Parkview Swimming Coach Bron Cherry was full of pride when questioned over the student's achievements. "To compete against some extremely capable swimmers and achieve a large number of the personal bests and improvements on qualifying times including a top 10 finish is just reward for the time our children spend in the pool and also recognition of the contributions both Leeton and Yanco Swim Clubs make to our athletes. Our children represented our community with distinction and we are extremely proud of them.
The children's achievements are as follows.
