The annual Parkview P&C Christmas Carnival hosted on November 20 has again be hailed a resounding success after a brilliant evening.

Despite the extremely hot weather, large crowds turned out to enjoy the event with children engaging enthusiastically with all of the activities provided including the inaugural 'Willi' Thong Throw.

The community were particularly supportive and generous, helping to raise almost $5000 through the Ham & Toy Raffles, drinks and other refreshments on the night.

Full results of the Willi Thong Throw are as follows:

The highly anticipated Willi Footwear Thong Throw was hosted with a large number of competitors putting their best foot forward during the event.  A huge thankyou is extended to Brad Munro and the team at Willi Footwear for sponsoring the event. We look forward to continuing the tradition in years to come. Overall the Golden Thong was awarded to community member Jeff Meale who set a new Golden Thong distance record of 45.1m.
