Luca Pitt and Jaleigh Ingram-Pitts enjoy Footy Colours and Cup Cake Day!

Parkview students enjoyed their traditional end of term Footy Colours Day and SRC Cup Cakes for a Cause Fundraiser on the final day of Term 3.

As has been the case for the last 16 years, students dressed in their favourite footy colours and purchased delicious cup cakes made by SRC Representatives and community as part of the school's fundraising efforts to support cancer research.

Over $500 was raised on the day which was a pleasing effort according to SRC Coordinator Mrs Cathy Dando. "It was again fantastic to see our community support such a worthy cause! It was great to see such a sea of colour with the kids wearing their favourite colours and of course to tasty cup cakes are always popular".

There were some very inventive cup cakes produced for sale by the SRC Representatives, while the favourite footy colours worn came down to a battle between the Cats, Swans and Blues in the AFL and the Rabbitohs, Bulldogs and Sea Eagles in the NRL!

Photos from the day can be found in the Photo Gallery section of the website.
