The Parkview Representative Netball Team.

Parkview's representative Netball team contested the Riverina Finals of the State Knockout last recently at the Equex Centre in Wagga. The team reached this stage of the competition after winning the LNPSSA Championships at the end of last term.

On a warm day in Wagga Wagga, our team produced some excellent performance to finish third overall, the best finish by a Parkview representative netball team ever.

The opening game against Ardlethan Central School was expected to be a tough match after Ardlethan had convincingly defeated Coolamon, however Parkview's slick team work proved the difference in an impressive four quarter performance, our winning through to the semi finals with 25-1 victory.

The Semi Final match up was a far tougher encounter, with a match up with a South Wagga PS line up that feature no less than 5 Riverina Representatives. Despite this our girls put in  together an excellent performance and pushed their opponets all the way, going down 9-29.

The 3 v 4 playoff featured Parkview and Kooringal PS, with Parkview, despite being reduced to just 6 players due to injury, coming away with 15-5 victory to finish 3rd overall on the day.

Thanks is extended to all of the parents and community members who assisted with transport and supporting the team in Wagga Wagga.
