The band pumps out 'Hit me with your best shot'.

It had been 6 long months of preparation, but wasn't the wait and the work all worth it? Parkview's students produced some amazing performances as part of the Leeton Community of Public Schools performing arts extravaganza 'Shine on Broadway'.

Four varied Parkview based acts including a harmonious choir rendition of 'Do Re Mi'; a brilliant tap and percussion inspired dance performance 'Stomp'; the brilliantly choreographed dance routine 'Revolting Children' from 'Matilda' and the memorable rendition from our talented school band of 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot!' kept the massive crowds enthralled for three huge shows last week at the Leeton High School MPC.

In total over 115 Parkview students contributed to the two hour show which also featured an amazing combined schools choir (including 6 PPS students) and a memorable finale led by Parkview vocalists Portia Marks and Emily Jennings.

Thanks is extended to the coordinating event staff Merilyn Blakeman, Laurinda Motion, Ondria Miller and Tim Hislop as well as all of the volunteer parents and community members who made such invaluable voluntary contributions to the production.
