Parkview Public School has been named the Riverina's 2009 School Of League!
Dean Whymark from ARL Development presented the school with prizes worth $1500 for winning the competition, including footballs, League Tag kits, water bottles, coolers and storage equipment.
Parkview PS was named the School Of League from across the 300 plus schools in the Riverina. The competition consisted of an application, where the school outlined not only its Rugby League achievements and contributions but also had to recognise the famous students who have attended PPS and discuss the educational programs that exist in the school.
The school along with five finalists were entered then into an on-line competition, with the school that got the most hits for their month bening judged the winner. Parkview PS received over 8000 hits for the month of September and were therefore judged the champion school for 2009.
We thank ARL Development and Dean for their ongoing support of our school.
