Parkview's Cultural Dance Group

The weekend just past was a significant one for many in the Leeton community as our town hosted the Relay for Life.

So many people's lives are touched by cancer and because of that it is so heartening to see so many Parkview community members assisting in the coordination of this event to raise much needed funds for Cancer care and research. All organisers and participants can be justly proud of their selfless efforts.

One of the many highlights of an emotional weekend was the performance of our school's Cultural Dance Group at the opening ceremony for the event. The school thanks Mr Joey Longford for his contributions to the preparations of this group of children and also thank the kids for being such wonderful ambassadors for our school.

Their performance was one of many they will engage in throughout the year as part of the schools commitment to cultural awareness within our community.
