Sydney Swans stars Ted Richards and Nick Smith entertained Parkview Public School students during their promotional visit to the school today. The players, accompanied by Jason McPherson and Josh Habel from the NSWACT AFL, spoke to the children about their paths to the AFL and what sports they played as they grew up.
Question and answer time provided some interesting questions, with Ted Richards fielding questions relating to suffering broken ribs at the hands of Brendan Fevola and also the heart break of losing the 2006 Grand Final with the Swans by the solitary point!
Nick Smith was asked the toughest mathematical question of the day with Isaac Dinsdale requesting that he add up the total number of games of footy he has played in his entire life. After much deliberation he settled on 500!
