Parkview's victorious Boys Soccer Team

Parkview Public School's Boys Soccer Team have made it three titles in succession after winning last Friday's LNPSSA Boys Soccer Championship at the Parkview PS Oval.

The opening game of the championship saw Parkview pitted against a determined Small Schools outfit. In a tense opening, Small Schools threatened to open the scoring before twin strikes from Riley Bradshaw and Tyler O'Connell gave Parkview a 2 goal buffer after 7 minutes. Small Schools continued to press before some individual brilliance from Thomas Heins in the midfield set up Tallis McMillan in the shadows of half time, McMillan calmly finishing from close range to give the hosts a 3 goal half time advantage.

Parkview came out full of running in the second half and were soon back on the scoreboard courtesy of a brilliant Ben Schmidt volley, before Thomas Heins got into the scoring act just two minutes later. Tyler O'Connell then set about scoring a second half hat-trick to bring his match tally to 4, before defenders Cody Browne and Jaxon Ryan put the icing on the cake of a 10-0 victory.

A fourth goal from O'Connell in ths shadows of full time completed a brilliant team effort on the day.
