Bruce Gilmour with children Hayden and Molly after his close shave!

Wacky Hair day at Parkview Public School proved a massive hit with the kids and provided an extremely close shave for community member Bruce Gilmour.

A big thank you to all community members who provided such tremendous support for our SRC as they raised money for Bruce  and his ‘Close Shave' as part of the Team Michael Ride To Conquer Cancer.

The funds raised go towards the work the Peter Mac Institute does in attempting to find a cure for Cancer.

The event proved a wonderful day, with all community members getting into the spirit of the day. There really was some crazy and wacky hair on display at school.

In total $2151.15 was raised for the event, with the amazing amount of $322.40 raised by our SRC as part of the Wacky Hair Day, $381.45 raised by the generous Parkview PS Staff as well as support from Leeton High School Staff ($100) and Yanco Agricultural High School Staff ($72).
